Timmy Le's Narrative
Volcanic Eruption
It was a Wednesday morning We were on our vacation to Hawaii for three weeks, we were relaxing and playing on the beach with my friends and family.
While we were playing I saw thick black smoke coming from behind the mountains and I shouted "FIRE! There's a fire behind the mountains!We packed up our bags just in case the fire would spread to where we were playing and relaxing.
While we were packing up we all heard a massive explosion, we all look around and saw that the cloudy smoke wasn't a bush fire but a volcano about to erupt.We were safe from the lava because we were on the other side of the mountain but we weren't safe from airborne hot rocks.
We saw red hot flying rocks landing in the water and around us, one of my family members told everyone to get away from the volcano and hide under the trees so that you don't get hit by the rocks.Then we followed the instructions, when we got there the flying rocks stop plummeting to the ground, there was ash everywhere too.We were all safe and went home the next day.
Earthquake
It was a nice sunny Monday morning.My mum,dad,brothers and I went to the supermarket because we were making roasted pork for dinner.
While shopping my dad saw that some items were falling and we all heard a rumbling noise.Then suddenly the ground started to shake, at first it was like being on a massage chair then the shaking got more and more intense that my family and I fell down.
Then I said "DROP! COVER! AND HOLD!" We all dropped down to the floor, covered ourselves and held until the earthquake was over.When it was over there was a few aftershocks, we took canned food, fruits and drinks to survive on for the days, we then went outside to call for help.We were all safe.
Flood
It was a Friday evening, we were going to sleep because it was ten P.M.
I was getting ready to go to sleep, when I finished I jumped on my bed and fell asleep in about a few minutes.
Suddenly I woke up in the middle of the night hearing this loud but distant noise of a air horn, my whole family woke up to this loud horn.We all were confused why there was water in our house, we examined the house to find if there was a broken pipe but there wasn't any broken pipes.When we switched the light on we saw that water was flowing through the doors and we all realised there was a flood.
We took our emergency survival kit with us and quickly went up onto the roof.When we were on the roof we saw our street was flooded with water and saw our neighbours on their roof, we called for help.When we got rescued my family and I were all safe from the flood and got transported to higher grounds and took refuge there.

Aryan's Writing.
Earthquake
It was a normal Monday morning.
It was a normal Monday morning.
I was walking to school and everything was okay until after morning tea.
I was inside class when everything started to shake. At first I thought I was Going mental but when I herd Matua Nick yell DROP COVER AND HOLD I dropped, covered and held like I never dropped covered and held before.
During the Earthquake there was many loud noises outside. As soon as the shaking stopped I looked outside and saw everything had collapsed. Our class only had broken windows, everything else was fine.
Then suddenly a surge of thoughts rushed me and I fell to the ground crying because I thought was my family dead? Is everything all right? I had yet to find out.
I rushed home trying to find out the answers to my questions and I had found out. I started to shed tears of joy because everyone was all right.
Landslide
It was a rainy Saturday and my dad, mum, sister and I were returning from Hamilton and were stuck in "heavy" traffic.
5 minutes later I herd a loud rumbling sound coming from my left hand side and I saw some huge rocks rolling towards us.
Seconds before the rock hit us Luke Sky Walker and Darth Vader came out of no where and used the force to save us.
Storm?
It all happened two nights ago, I had woken up inside a strange world and I was watching the news.
The news report had described that there was a dangerous storm heading our way, arriving in 1 hour.
I tried my best to prepare but I didn't have enough time.
I went outside to let the storm take me but as soon as I put my hands out in front of me. I suddenly had started to control the storm. I had fun with the storm.
Suddenly I had fallen and I got up from my bed. I thought was it all a dream?
Are you ready.
Back-up supplies are needed
Catastrophes can happen any time
Disasters can be natural or man made
Everything can go wrong
Family is important
Get ready for impact
Have your emergency supplies ready
In case it happens be ready
Jugs of water you will need to drink
Kills everything in it's path
Love your loved the most
Mountains you should seek in a flood
Nothing or everything could go wrong
O.M.G there is destruction everywhere
Prepare yourself
Question yourself
Readiness is important
Stay aware
Today or tomorrow it will happen
Underestimate you shall not
Verify dangerous objects
We shall stay strong
X-ray the surrounding fro good escape plans
You have to be ready
Zimbabwe or New Zealand it will happen anywhere.

Devil Cake Recipe By Armanii
1/2 cup butter
3 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup water
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup of milk
1 teaspoon distilled whit vinegar
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees c). Lightly grease and flour one 9x13 inch pan or two 9 inch round pans.In a small pan melt the butter or margarine with the unsweetened chocolate. Set aside to cool slightly
Cream together the sugar and the eggs until light in colour. Add the chocolate mixture to the eggs and temper mixture by beating well Add 1 cup of boiled water and blend well. Mixture will be very liquid.
Mix together the flour, baking soda and salt. Add this mixture to the chocolate mixture and blend well.Mix together the vinegar and the milk and stir into the chocolate batter and blend well.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean. Cake divides well filling with mousse or ganache or black forest filling.
